Topic to blog: 'Fire at Sherm's home'

Had an impromptu stayover at Sherm's home the other night. Decided to cook pasta.
Scenario is this..
Sherm boiled some spaghetti in a small pot over the stove.

Me: Eh, why the pot so small? Where's the pot i always use?
Sherm: Aiya can la! This pot can la, small then can cook faster ma
Me: Really ah.. Ok la, anything.

Hui and i had our backs facing the stove, Sherm was opposite us (facing the stove), we 3 trying to figure out whether the Kilkenny had expired. Expired beer? H-A-H-A but yeah, we were sampling the beer cos it tasted KINDA weird.
SUDDENLY,

Sherm: ZHAO HUO LE!!
Hui and i swiftly turned to see, REAL FIRE! THE PASTA HAD CAUGHT FIRE!
All: -panicking frantically, OMGOSH-ing like mad-
Sherm: water water!!
Hui: -fills cup with water-
Sherm: DRIZZLES the few misely droplets of water over the FIRE
Hui and Sherm: HOW HOW
Me: OMGOSH YALL ARE DAMN DUMB! CLOTH! CLOTH!
Me: THIS IS HOW YOU PUT OUT A FIRE LA! -damps the cloth, throws it over the fire and tada! peace restoration-
All: -laughs at each other's stupidity-

then the whole kitchen was engulfed in misty haze and thick smoke. A real rare sight.
Sheena: -runs in from living room- WOAH! what happened?
All: -rushes in different directions to open windows, kitchen doors, toilet doors-
*like mices scurrying around* hahahahaha
